Technical writer with expertise in Human Resources & Knowledge Management

I am an HR expert that uses wide expertise in Knowledge Management and Technical Writing to identify and support key customers. I started my career in Human Resource Management as an HR Generalist and progressed into Knowledge Management.

​I have always been involved in documentation and writing through my career and personal life. I have been developing documentation within the HR department in various aspects of HR. I created employee handbooks, job aids, and cultural knowledge packages to facilitate onboarding, ongoing training processes, and internal and external relationship management.

2018 – Present

Rogers Communications

Technical Support Associate

I am currently working as a Technical Support Associate for Rogers Communications. I have consistently met and exceeded set productivity targets, and have assisted as an interim call center supervisor. I have met or exceeded service and quality standards every review period. I have achieved a weekly resolution rate of 90 percent. I have also gathered customer feedback to pass along to the company’s development team to help improve customer service.

I worked as a Senior Business Consultant at Vistas Global from 2016 to 2018. My responsibilities included meeting all recruitment targets, developing and implementing an employee handbook, and improving business processes. I also acted as a key point of contact for audit purposes and supported external bench-marking and evaluation programs.

I worked as a human resources generalist for a company called INGC Trading & Contracting. My responsibilities included creating and implementing programs and policies in the areas of training, benefits, and orientation for new employees. I also wrote and edited various employee communications. I coordinated multiple employee events and celebrations.

Knowledge Assistant

I worked as a knowledge assistant for the National Health Service from 2007 to 2008. My accomplishments include accurately capturing workflow processes and integrating them into the KM system, participating in knowledge-sharing sessions, designing solution architecture, implementing systems, and training end users. I also trained and up-skilled teams and consultants on Knowledge Management tools, Taxonomy, and Information Retrieval techniques.
In addition, I provided multiple platforms for knowledge-sharing along with the practices and policies to enable colleagues to see value in knowledge-sharing towards the soft benefits of KM. I coordinated and facilitated the capture, validation, and implementation of lessons learned and best practices aimed for continuous improvement of the knowledge transfer process. I also helped monitor and evaluate the knowledge-sharing program, including external bench marking and evaluation programs/opportunities.
Lastly, I oversaw the process of content creation and ensured complete development and front-line testing or knowledge documents before significant changes so that end users were on track with goals. I became the go-to person in the organization for documentation and content.

I was a human resources generalist for Godrej Upstream Limited from 2002 to 2004. During that time, I streamlined and updated an integrated payroll system and designed, developed, and implemented a training database.
